Having sold a very successful business a few years earlier, Orville Jaeger was finding himself increasingly bored with his retirement. A chance meeting in 1992 with an old friend who explained the local same-day delivery business got Orv's entrepreneurial juices running again.

Orv started contacting business owners he had worked with in the past and within a few weeks Fond du Lac Express was up and running.

The first few years of business, Orv was the primary driver, dealing directly with every client. He also did all the invoicing, marketing & maintenance of his vehicles. In 1996 Orv hired a full time office manager, Marian Blazer. With answering customer inquiries and providing clients with an immediate response, Fond du Lac Express has seen business grow at a tremendous rate.

Fond du Lac express currently has 32 drivers delivering anything from letters, boxes, or pallets to anywhere in the Midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan) on a Same-Day basis, with nationwide Next-Day delivery of up to 21,000 lbs.

Fond du Lac Express has daily routes into Milwaukee and Green Bay serving all cities in between every day. The Fond du Lac Express Fleet consists of 5 suburbans and 19 trucks, some with rear lifts for ground level loading and unloading.
